The club took time to acknowledge Ricky Gittens, who played his 200th senior game.
As a result he joined his late father Rob Gittens among the club’s list of life members.
Ricky is a favourite among the playing group, supporters, and the junior players, and it was a credit to the club for all the hard work put in to acknowledge such an achievement.

From the first bounce, we knew that this match was going to go down to the last few minutes.
Both teams kicked four goals in the first quarter.
It looked like it might have been a high scoring game, but the next two quarters turned into a real arm wrestle with minimal scoring from both sides.
With no more than 10 points separating teams, the entire match the crowd and Ricky’s family were excited for a close one.

It was a big day for the club, running out in special indigenous guernseys honouring Rob Gittens and the Gittens family, as well as Ricky’s 200th senior game.
The visitors, although being younger and smaller, fought well to limit the Rams’ usual open and fast running game style.
In what turned into a very congested game, the Rams were able to show their class at times to come away with a convincing win.
