HD HR Holden Club of Victoria president Craig Pearson said he was very happy with the event.
“It was a resounding success,” Mr Pearson said.
“We had nothing but joyous comments from all who attended, which included local people and those who came from around Australia.
“We even had some come from New Zealand.”
Mr Pearson said more than 2000 visitors came on the day.
“Our people choice voting, which was done online, had well over 1500 votes which was amazing,” he said
“It really was a tremendous display of Aussie automotive history.”
Mr Pearson thanked the community for making the club feel so welcome.
“We had a great time in Benalla,” he said.
“Then we had 110 cars follow us out to do the north-east silo art trail.
“When they were all parked up at Goorambat it looked amazing. The town was awash with HD HR Holdens.“
Mr Pearson said the club hosts the Nationals in a different state each year and announced it would be in Murray Bridge, South Australia, on the King’s birthday long weekend in 2024.
