Cowgirl Cadillacs is bringing some of the best horsewomen in America to Sheridan, Wyoming to offer fancy trained, classy, gorgeous horses for sale.
On the heels of another exceptional sale in Arizona, Cowgirl Cadillacs is bringing its special brand of horse sale to Wyoming June 16-17. With an all female line up of consignors, Cowgirl Cadillacs juries the horses offered. “Our criteria is pretty straight forward; the horses we accept must be well trained, safe, and gentle. Being pretty doesn’t hurt either.” explains sale director Ike Sankey.
The quality of the horses has been reflected in prices with the last sale averaging $44,875 with the high selling horse fetching $125,000.
Featured consignor Megan Hansen sums up the appeal of the sale, “Being part of such an elite sale, composed entirely of female consignors, is a real honor. When ladies call about our horses, they feel comfortable asking all their questions and can connect to a ‘mother’s perspective.’ It brings a whole new dynamic to the conversation. It’s a pleasure watching my own kids bond with new people through the love of horses, and we’ve formed lifelong friendships through the Cowgirl Cadillacs. It’s a highlight of our year to go to Arizona for the sale and the events that surround it, and we are excited for Sheridan!”
The event weekend will include a trade show, an Evening of Equine Entertainment with Dan James, fondue steak dinner, buyers social, sale horse previews along with the main event, the horse sale on Saturday afternoon. Potential buyers are welcome to arrange for pre-purchase exams, x-rays and test rides before the event and remote bidding is available if you can’t make it to Sheridan. Bios on each horse and consignor, along with information on where to stay and the complete schedule is available at
“This is an exceptional group of horses, and I am always excited to be able to see them in person. They are beautiful and the training just seems to get better and better each year. “ said the sale’s Marketing Director Ms. Ryan Sankey. “For the horse loving little girl in all of us, this event is unique and worth a trip to Wyoming.”
