News that Kallan Richardson continues running to success, Hamilton Princess and Lili Bermuda’s fragrance ‘Island Rose’ has been named the Best Hotel Scent by Elle Magazine, and Dr Lisa Boden was appointed by the University of Edinburgh in Scotland were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.
In additional good news, the Bermuda Special Olympics team will compete in Berlin, solo sailor Cole Brauer became the first woman to win the 635 nautical miles Bermuda One-Two race, the Bermuda Karting Club donated to Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, Christian Ebbin helped St. George’s finish third in ISSA, Nia Christopher scored twice to lead her Eagles F.C. Women’s team to a 3 – 2 victory in a USL W League match, and Robin Horsfield won the Kelso Mountain Bike Series.
