CHARLESTON — Philip Barbour’s DaShawn Webster and Kemper Longwell will join Tucker County’s Dom Mullenax as participants in today’s North-South Football Classic to be held at noon at South Charleston High School.
Webster, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound linebacker/running back, has signed with Kentucky Christian.
Longwell, a 6-4, 280-pound lineman, has inked to play at Alderson Broaddus University.
Both were Class AA all-state selections, as Webster was a second-team pick as a utility player and Longwell was listed as honorable mention.
Mullenax, meanwhile, is a 6-0, 210-pound lineman and helped lead the Mountain Lions to the Class A state playoffs in 2022. He also earned honorable mention all-state laurels.
East Hardy wide receiver/defensive back Dawson Price will also suit up for the North. The Cougars advanced to the Class A state quarterfinals last season and Price was an all-state honorable mention selection.

Byrd’s Braylon Hilliard (athlete) and Logan McCartney (OL-DL), Clay-Battelle’s Carson Shriver (RB-LB), Parkersburg South’s Braden Whipkey (TE-LB), Demetrius Gearheart (OL-DL) and Dalton Veon (OL-DL), St. Marys’ Peyton Girard (WR-DE) and Joey Ramsey (WR-LB), Musselman’s Bayden Hartman (QB-DB), John Marshall’s Jacob Coffield (QB-LB), Oak Glen’s Kholtin Goodin (RB-LB), South Harrison’s Noah Burnside (RB-LB), Grafton’s Triston Floyd (WR-DB), North Marion’s Parker Kincell (WR-DB), Tyler Curry (OL-LB) and Harley Sickles (OL-DE), Roane County’s Skyler Delk (RB-LB), Colton Paxton (TE-LB) and Christian Jarvis (OL-DE), Wheeling Central’s Deante Suggs (OL-DL), Cameron’s Gunner Bryan (OL-DL) and Wirt County’s Ryan Goodnight (OL-DL).
Roane County’s Paul Burdette is the head coach of the North and will be assisted by Jason Hickman (Wirt County), Matthew Peery (Roane County) and Nathan Tanner (Parkersburg South).
Van’s Mark Agosti is the South head coach, with Ron Deal (Van), Josh Evans (Summers County) and Jason Smith (George Washington) serving as assistants.
