Port Adelaide is reportedly “significantly keen” on Kangaroos free agent Ben McKay, while Miles Bergman is drawing interest from every Victorian club, according to Herald Sun reporter Jon Ralph.
The Power are looking to bolster key position stocks – particularly in defence – with McKay and Geelong’s Esava Ratugolea two players they’ve been linked to.
Speaking on Fox Footy, Ralph confirmed Port was set to come hard for McKay, who’s eligible for restricted free agency.

“(The Power are) significantly keen on Ben McKay, even through their backline is holding up quite well, Ralph reported on Friday night.
“They see a succession plan there with Tom Jonas, 31, and Trent McKenzie, 31. They have the cap space and feel like Esava Ratugolea will stay at Geelong.”
It comes amid an indifferent season from McKay for the 17th-placed Kangaroos where he’s been below his best form of recent years.
His twin brother Harry is signed at Carlton until 2030.
Meanwhile Bergman, 21, who’s averaged 15.1 disposals, 5.8 marks and 3.6 rebound 50s playing in all 13 games for the Power, is in high demand from teams from his home state in Victoria.
Ralph revealed Bergman would consider his next move from the Power’s bye from Round 15. As he’s not eligible for free agency, he’d need to be acquired via trade.

“Their young star in Miles Bergman has interest from, as I understand it, every Victorian club as he weighs up his future. He’ll consider that future from Round 15 onwards in the bye,” Ralph said.
“It’’s fair to say he has felt homesick over the last 12 months, but certainly he’s connected with this group and sees what they are capable of.
“Hell weigh up that premiership lure at Port Adelaide with that interest from Victorian clubs.
“A former St Kilda fan and bayside boy, he can pick his choice of any Victorian destination.
“But would you want to jump off Port Adelaide when they seem to be doing some special things? He’s in great form as well, so he’s got lots of options.
“It certainly will be a significant offer, whether he stays or whether he goes.”
