Serving as the third round of the 2023 Bosch Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC) season, Australia’s best rally crews will tackle the 216 competitive kilometres over the course of 14 stages.
Taking place towards the end of July in the surrounding forests of the Gympie area, the rally will be run in a sprint format over two days of rally action.
Interested crews have until 6pm AEST on Friday 7 July to enter the event and can do so via the Motorsport Australia Member Portal.
Starting on Saturday 22 July, the first heat will see crews contest 131kms over eight stages, while Sunday’s action will be made up of the remaining 85kms and six stages, including the EROAD Power Stage.
There will be seven unique stages during the event with four stages to be run twice on Saturday and a further three stages to be run twice on Sunday – including the picturesque Gympie Gold stage, which will run as the EROAD Power Stage.
The Brisbane Sporting Car Club-run event will also be hosting a round of the KickAss Queensland Rally Championship, the Ackworth Recruitment Clubman Queensland Clubman Rally Series and Virtual Security Guard Queensland Novice Rally Series – all of which will run solely on Saturday.
As always, the KickAss Rally Village will run out of the Gympie Showgrounds where crews will be set up and fans will be able to see the cars up close.
Before the action gets underway though, the Friday night will see the return of the popular Wheels on Mary festival sponsored by Gympie Regional Council, where there will be live entertainment, food options and all the ARC’s vehicles on show to kick off the rally in style.

Accent Benchtops Rally Queensland Clerk of Course Brian Everitt was excited to officially open the event.
“The roads are also in excellent shape. They have been upgraded and refurbished since last year’s longstanding rain, so we are pretty happy with how the road conditions are,” Everitt said.
“We have also included a new stage that was used back in the International Rally of Queensland days, so that will be something crews can look forward to.
“I would like to use the opportunity to thank both Accent Benchtops and the Gympie Regional Council for their unwavering support for backing us once again.
“I am very happy the event is finally open and I, along with the rest of the Brisbane Sporting Car Club, are looking forward to hosting the best crews in Australia.”
