Police were at the scene of a shop fire on a main Cardiff road during the early hours of Friday morning.
Officers were called to a fire at a charity shop on Albany Road at around 3.30am.
South Wales Police said they attended to support South Wales Fire and Rescue Service which was dealing with a fire at a property.
A road closure was put in place and a local diversion was put in place.
There were no reports of any injuries and the property was unoccupied.
A spokesman said: “The cause of the fire does not appear to be suspicious.”

“It’s not what you expect to wake up to”
The team at Scope’s charity shop were shocked to find out that a fire has taken place.
Alison Aston, South West Area Manager at disability equality Scope, told WalesOnline: “The fire brigade are still on site. At the moment we don’t know what’s caused the fire. The shop team are very upset this morning, it’s not what you expect to wake up to.
“Two of the team have been at the shop for over 10 years. We’re waiting for further details from the fire brigade.”

Fire service outside charity shop
A passer-by on Albany Road has just noticed that a fire has taken place at Scope charity shop. They said on Twitter: “Very sad to see fire destroyed @scope charity shop on Albany Rd #Cardiff this morning. Thankfully no one inside but all stock will be damaged so their fundraising will be impacted for a while.”

Delays as main road is shut
Traffic monitoring system Inrix says the road is closed between Blenheim Road and City Road.
BBC Radio Wales Travel are reporting delays are already building on City Road and Crwys Road
