Police were called to a Gladstone caravan park twice in a fortnight with the second incident so concerning that multiple Triple-0 calls were received.
Susan Gaye Jones, 57, pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on May 31 to two counts of public nuisance and one count each of obstructing police and wilful damage.
The court heard that on November 2 last year, police attended a Gladstone caravan park in relation to an incident.
It heard that while police were there, Jones was yelling and she said to another person at the caravan park: “F— off, what are you looking at?”
The court was told Jones also obstructed police officers.
Then on November 17, police received Triple-0 calls in relation to an incident at the caravan park.
The court was told a manager was serving a person in the office when Jones marched towards it with her “arms pumping like a steam train”.
Once inside the office, Jones caused a scene, started shouting at the manager, and a witness tried to calm her down, the court heard.
The court was told Jones continued yelling, screaming and pointing her finger at the manager.
It heard the manager told Jones to stop swearing and Jones swung the office door so hard it caused the handle to hit a wall, putting a hole in it.
The court was told Jones had a one-page criminal history and the prosecution did not seek restitution.
Solicitor Jun Pepito tendered a letter to the court which explained some of the difficulties Jones had.
Acting Magistrate Mary Buchanan fined Jones $800 and a conviction was recorded.
