Vivid Sydney 2023 is for creatives, night owls and food lovers. We’ve got lasers and robots taking over city tunnels, glittering night walks, big-ticket restaurant residencies and a little glow-in-the-dark fun in the form of an illuminated pottery class. Bondi Clay, an eco-ceramics studio in Bondi, is putting a neon-fuelled spin on your next ceramics adventure and it sounds pretty lit. So if you’re looking to craft your next coffee mug, saucer or succulent planter, you know where to go.
Glow-in-the-dark Pottery, Bondi Clay
The glowy class will light up your night every evening during Vivid Sydney when it’s nice and dark out. On offer is a 2-hour crash course in wheel throwing where you’ll learn the intricacies of creating pottery pieces from scratch all under UV lights. And it’s not just the venue that shines either, you’ll get a chance to create pieces that also glow-in-the-dark and you get to take your creations home with you. Even better, the class is tailored to suit both beginners and seasoned potters so you just need to show up and keep the party vibes going.
