CHARLIE Dixon and Travis Boak are poised for a return to football this weekend, with both players tracking well in their recovery.
Dixon (quad) and Boak (ribs) have rejoined training without restrictions and will be assessed again this week to determine their fitness for selection.
Midfielder Hugh Jackson entered concussion protocols following a head knock in Sunday’s SANFL match and will be sidelined this weekend.
Defender Tom Clurey is continuing to rehabilitate a lumbar disc injury, which has forced him to miss the last two SANFL matches.
With his back soreness evolving over the past week, the 29-year-old is expected to miss at least another month of football.
In positive news, Xavier Duursma’s recovery is progressing well, with the 22-year-old resuming running this week after tearing his PCL in late April.
Port Adelaide will name its selected side for Friday’s match at Marvel Stadium on Thursday evening at 5:50pm ACST.
