Titomic, a metal additive manufacturing company, has sold its Integrated Spray Booth system to innovative centre Perron038 valued at $710,000.
Perron038 will now house a roboticised Titomic D623 medium-pressure cold spray unit with an agreement that the system will be delivered and paid for by the end of 2023, as revealed in an ASX announcement.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, Perron038 is a research and development facilitator that connects high-tech companies, educational institutions and research companies for collaborative development.
In particular, one partner will be the nearly 25,000-student Dutch vocational university Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (Windesheim).
Students and researchers at Windesheim, as well as Perron038 and their clients, will be able to take advantage of Titomic Kinetic Fusion’s special capabilities through the system to conduct cutting-edge research on innovative materials and coatings.
According to Titomic, this substantial transaction illustrates both the education sector’s need for Titomic’s technology and its dedication to encouraging technological developments.
Additionally, it offers practical experience for young European materials scientists, engineers, and business executives who might want to commercialise thermodynamic fusion.
Herbert Koeck, managing director of Titomic, expressed his delight at the successful sale of the system, saying this marks an important development for the company as it continues to expand into the education sector.
“By enabling access to cutting-edge technology to Perron038 and Windesheim, we are not only generating revenue but also investing in the education of future industry leaders,” he stated.
Koeck added, “We are excited about the opportunities this sale brings and look forward to further collaborations in education.”
