What to do in the Northern Territory
During summer, travellers can expect lush national parks teeming with native wildlife, cascading waterfalls, kaleidoscopic sunsets, spectacular afternoon storms and rich Aboriginal culture immersions.
Travellers to Uluru could embark on the new Red Centre Light Trail, an epic six-day road trip adventure from Uluru to Alice Springs, via Kings Canyon.
The trail showcases the Red Centre’s newest and most iconic outdoor light and sound spectacle. These include the recently launched Wintjiri Wiru at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort, a sound, drone and light show combining ancient Anangu storytelling, as well as Bruce Munro’s acclaimed Field of Light at Uluru, and new Light-Towers experience at Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon.
