Wednesday, June 7 is National VCR Day. Not many of us will be able to celebrate, as they are long outdated technology, but we can honor their memory by imagining your favorite movie in less than desirable quality with four trailers in front of it.
Translation for Gen Z: VCR stands for Video Cassette Recorder. They played VHS tapes, short for Video Home System. Thank you for making me feel ancient, as I am “played Rugrats on orange VHS tapes” years old.
