Joe Hart has delivered a three word verdict after Celtic’s Scottish Cup and Treble success.
The Hoops faced off with Scottish Championship Inverness at Hampden as they looked to secure a domestic clean sweep. Ange Postecoglou’s men went into the contest as heavy favourites to get the job done and they did just that as they ran out 3-1 winners at a roasting hot national stadium to create history with an eighth Treble haul.
Kyogo Furuhashi – who loves to have his say on the big Hampden occasion – opened the scoring in the 38th minute as he blasted home from Matt O’Riley’s low cross into the roof of the net. Liel Abada then added a second for the Scottish champions just beyond the hour mark to double the advantage but Inverness had their big moment in the sun with Daniel Mackay superbly heading home with six minutes left on the clock to set up an interesting finale. But Jota made sure of the win in added-time.

All the talk in the build up had been surrounding the future of boss Postecoglou amid strong links with the Tottenham job. He once again refused to discuss his future when asked if he would be at Celtic next season and instead remained fully focus on celebrating Celtic’s trophy success on the day and season overall. He made a late night address hailing the ‘incredible moment’ as fans anxiously wait for news over his future.
Former England international and veteran Hart has loved every single minute of his time at Celtic to date and once again took to social media to express that. First he uploaded a selfie with an empty Hampden Park with the caption: “What a day.” followed by three gold medals and a green love heart.
