Police have arrested two people suspected of a burglary at the company’s global headquarters in North Geelong.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Jody Clayton said police believed the teens forced open glass sliding doors at the rear of the office about 5am on Wednesday.
“Police were called to the business premises in Shepherd Court, in North Geelong about 5am, after the security alarm was activated,” Leading Senior Constable Clayton said.
“It’s believed the two males forced open sliding glass doors at the rear of the premises before attempting to steal personal items and computer equipment.”
Sen-Constable Clayton said a 19-year-old Belmont man was charged with burglary and was remanded to the appear in the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on June 6.
A 17-year-old boy was also charged with burglary and was remanded to face the childrens’ court.
The Geelong Advertiser understands the burglary meant some Cotton On staff were unable to work on Wednesday morning.

Its entire workforce across the global has hit 18,000 people.
