It is well established that Ireland winger Mack Hansen is a free spirit – and the quirky character is also clearly a man of his word.
The Australian is ‘a bit of a mad one’ according to Ireland skipper Johnny Sexton. What is certain is his value to the Ireland setup.
Nominated for Six Nations Player of the Tournament, he is set to play a massive part in Ireland’s World Cup bid and is a key component of the Irish side.
Hansen – who is Irish-qualified through his Cork-born mother – has fully bought in, so much so he has just had the face of Ireland head coach Andy Farrell tattooed onto his body.
The Canberra native did quip after the Grand Slam victory that he would get himself inked with Farrell’s face, a bet he made if Ireland were to go on and win all of their games in the tournament.
Former Scotland player Jim Hamilton shared an image of Hansen’s latest artwork, noting the Connacht winger had ‘done the deed’.
The ink has prompted comparisons to an array of people from former Leinster coach Michael Cheika to English radio DJ Chris Moyles.
Hansen has previous with getting his rugby colleague’s faces plastered onto his body for the rest of his days.
He revealed his hilarious tattoo of clubmate Oisin Dowling a year ago – something which had Ireland legend Brian O’Driscoll in ribbons.
