Family and friends of MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo have laid the celebrity chef to rest at a private funeral held in Sydney.
Zonfrillo,46, died in Melbourne two weeks ago, discovered in his hotel room after failing to return his wife’s calls.
He was preparing to promote the show’s upcoming season, while his family were in Rome.

Pictures of his funeral have circulated online, and there were reports a number of his family and friends had flown to Australia for the service.
Wife Lauren Fried was seen leading mourners into a small chapel in Sydney.
Zonfrillo’s coffin was photographed covered in the Royal Banner of Scotland, a tribute to the 46-year-old’s country of birth.
MasterChef fellow judge Andy Allen, former MasterChef judge George Colombaris and fellow celeb chef Shannon Bennett were also in attendance.
Jimmy Barnes and daughter Mahalia sang Amazing Grace.
Zonfrillo’s sudden death shocked the entertainment industry. Police are not treating it as suspicious.
His family issued a statement at the time asking for privacy to come to terms with their loss.
Zonfrillo leaves behind four children.
