Division 2 regional finals
Chilton 6, Campbellsport 0
CHILTON – The Tigers advanced to sectionals for the third year in a row with the victory over the Cougars.
Austin Grube pitched 6⅔ innings and allowed only three hits. He struck out 12 batters and walked one. Ryan Lisowe recorded the final out.
Max Mueller, Slatt Nolan and Hunter Rolbiecki each had two hits for Chilton. Rolbiecki had two doubles. Grube also had a double and drove in two runs.
Denmark 6, Wrightstown 5
DENMARK – The Vikings scored four runs in the bottom of the third inning to take a 5-1 lead then held off the Tigers for the regional win.
Ethan Ovsak and Lucas Miller each had two hits for Denmark. Nolan Perry had two RBIs.
Quade Thompson had three hits and an RBI for Wrightstown. Landon Helphrey had two hits and three RBIs, and Trevor Vande Hey had two hits.
Grant Schroeder earned the win, throwing 1⅓ innings. Jaycob Dittmer went two innings for the save, striking out three.
Denmark is 26-2 overall while Wrightstown finishes the season 14-10.
Division 3 regional finals
New Holstein 3, Mishicot 1
MISHICOT – Mishicot got on the board first in the bottom of the third inning when Nolan Sand singled to bring in Nico Desotelle, but the Huskies struck back for all three of their runs in the top of the fifth.
Conner Meyer, Logan Kremer, Hunter Boldt, Austin Kremer and Hayden Jurgensmeir all tallied a hit for New Holstein in the victory. Meyer and Logan Kremer collected RBIs for the Huskies, while Keaton Wagner, Austin Kremer and Jurgensmeir came around to score.
Sand led Mishicot at the plate, going 3-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases. Desotelle added two hits in three at-bats and also swiped two bags. Will Garceau, Brady Urbanek and Ben Griffey each had base hits and Urbanek stole one base.
Boldt earned the win for New Holstein, allowing eight hits and just the lone run with nine strikeouts in 6⅓ innings. Jack Schwarz picked up the save by retiring the final two batters on five pitches, striking out one.
Sand took the loss for Mishicot after pitching a complete game, surrendering five hits with no walks and three runs (one earned), striking out five in seven innings.
Mishicot finishes its season with an 18-8 record.
Auburndale 8, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 5
WITTENBERG – The Chargers scored a run in both the second and third innings, and plated three more in the bottom of the fourth to take a 5-0 advantage, but the Eagles countered right away in the top of the fifth for three runs of their own and then rallied for five in the seventh to come from behind and secure the regional final victory.
Blake Raab, Nathan Richardson and Alex Willfahrt all had two hits and a run scored for Auburndale. Willfahrt also drove in a pair and stole a base. Sloan Welch and Timothy Schmitt both added doubles for the Eagles. Schmitt collected three RBIs. Welch earned a walk and drove in a run.
Mishicot 2, St. Mary Catholic 0 (Tuesday)
MISHICOT – Despite being outhit 7-4, Mishicot plated the only two runs of the game in the bottom of the second to advance to the regional final against New Holstein.
Kaden Kowalski went 2-for-3 for Mishicot with a run scored and a stolen base. Nolan Sand was 1-for-3 and also swiped a bag. Wyatt Arkens had a hit in two at-bats, scoring the other run for Mishicot and collecting the lone RBI in the game.
Fisher MacKenzie led the Zephyrs at the plate, going 3-for-3.
Ethan Gnadt pitched the complete game to earn the win, allowing seven hits and a walk to go with five strikeouts in seven innings.
Owen Ripley also went the distance, taking the tough-luck loss for SMC after surrendering four hits, two walks and two runs (one earned) while striking out 15 batters over six innings.
St. Mary Catholic finishes its season with a 14-6 record.
Division 4 regional finals
Pacelli 2, Gibraltar/Washington Island 0
STEVENS POINT – Brock Birrenkott pitched a complete game and allowed only two hits to lead the Cardinals to the regional win.
Birrenkott walked two batters and struck out 10.
Pacelli scored a run in the third inning and in the sixth inning.
Peyton Flees had a hit and an RBI for Pacelli. Keltin Opper also drove in a run.
Pittsville 8, Independence/Gilmanton 5
PITTSVILLE – The Panthers scored in five of the six innings they batted in winning the regional championship.
Dylan Luther had two hits and three RBIs for Pittsville. Easton Dammann had three hits and two RBIs. They both hit doubles, and Waylon Grimm added a triple and an RBI.
Logan Zickert pitched 6⅔ innings for the win. He gave up seven hits, five runs (three earned) and struck out 10.

GIRLS SOCCER
Division 2
Marshfield 9, Merrill 0 (Tuesday)
MARSHFIELD – The Tigers allowed zero shots the entire match, picking up a convincing victory over the Bluejays.
Grace Taylor opened the scoring for Marshfield on a goal assisted by Presley Franklin within the second minute. Just before the 10-minute mark, Abby Ongna added the Tigers’ second goal, also assisted by Franklin. With only seconds to go in the 39th minute, Hadlee Hall put Marshfield up 3-0 on an assist from Lauryn Katzenberger.
Avery Weister struck twice for the Tigers in the 43rd minute, the first goal assisted by Ongna and the second on a pass from Hayden Berger. Ongna earned her second assist of the match when Maddie Nikolia put one in the back of the net in the 46th minute and then scored her second goal in the 48th minute, unassisted. Finally, in the 63rd minute, Taylor Kudinger capped the shutout with an unassisted goal.
Merrill keeper Gema Malone saved 22 shots.
