Every Championship player released so far as Derby County target transfers

Derby County are preparing for a busy summer as Paul Warne looks at reshaping his squad for another promotion push next season.

Meetings with head of recruitment Mark Thomas have been ongoing for some time with a number of targets being assessed ahead of the window opening.

The majority of League One clubs have released their retained lists and Championship clubs are now beginning to follow after the conclusion of the season.

Seven clubs have so far released their retained lists and there are some notable names available on a free with Curtis Nelson, linked with Derby back in January, among them.

Former Derby loanee Kieran Dowell is also looking for a new club while Aden Flint, also linked with the Rams, is also free to find a new home. Darnell Fisher, who has been consistently linked with the Rams, has also been released by Middlesbrough.
