Kansas City – Global law firm K&L Gates is advising CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust, Inc. (NYSE:CORR, CORRPrA) in the sale of its MoGas and Omega pipeline systems (the “MoGas System”) to Spire Inc. (NYSE:SR) for $175 million in cash. The MoGas System is an interstate gas transmission and distribution system providing service to markets in Missouri and Illinois. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2023, subject to antitrust clearance and customary closing conditions.
The K&L Gates team advising CorEnergy in the transaction was led by Kansas City partner Brogan Sullivan and included Portland associate Chris Huong and a number of other lawyers across the firm’s many practice areas.
