The Laredo International Fair and Exposition announced it is hosting a rummage sale to gather funds for their organization’s objectives.
The LIFE Fair announced the news Saturday stating it wants to donate their items to be sold at the fair so they can continue their scholarship opportunities and funds to gather money for upcoming community events.
The rummage sale is planned to be held later this summer from June 16-17 at the Webb County Fairgrounds Pavillion.
“The Laredo International Fair and Exposition will be hosting a rummage sale to raise funds for the organization,” LIFE Fair Executive Director Alberto Torres said. “The public is invited to donate items for the sale. Clothes, furniture, tools — basically anything is being accepted.”
Torres said students can donate items for the sale and receive community service hours for their donations. They can be dropped off at the LIFE offices.
Office hours for LIFE are from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The rummage sale hours for June 16 will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the hours for June 17 will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
