Premier Racing at The Meadows this evening is highlighted by a 525-metre Free For All featuring Group 1 Golden Easter Egg (520m) finalist Elite Alex.
The Mark Delbridge-trained chaser continued his outstanding form at The Meadows last Saturday night when he prevailed by over four lengths in a terrific time of 29.91 seconds.
Elite Alex has now won five times in 11 attempts at The Meadows over 525 metres and one of those victories was in a scorching time of 29.73 seconds in a Free For All on April 29.
If Elite Alex extends his unbeaten run out of Box 2 to four races, he will have accounted for a number of well-performed greyhounds.
ELITE ALEX (7) OUTCLASSED HIS RIVALS AT THE MEADOWS LAST SATURDAY NIGHT:
Group 1 runner-up Amron Dan will be aided by Box 1, but last month’s Group 2 Geelong Gold Cup (520m) finalist has only been placed in three of his last eight starts since winning at The Meadows over 600 metres on March 4.
Storm Stroller (Box 6) – runner-up to the country cups queen Kelsey Bale in the Geelong Gold Cup Final last month – is racing for the first time in four weeks and he races well at The Meadows with five wins and six minor placings from 16 races at the 525-metre trip.
Group 3 winner Titan Blazer loves racing from Box 8 with five victories and five minor placings from 15 attempts.
Three-time Group 1 champion Jarick Bale (Box 7) is lining up for the 100th start in his career as well.

“His racing days are pretty close to being numbered, but I’d like to try and win a few more races with him,” trainer Mark Delbridge advised GRV’s Gerard Guthrie.
Expert form analyst The Watchdog is overlooking sentiment in Race 8 at 8:57pm.
“Elite Alex is in the top bracket of sprinters and with a timely beginning, he will take beating.”
At Geelong, Postman Pat is expected to claim his 13th victory from 17 starts in Race 8 at 6:53pm, while The Emerald (300m) winner Unleash Collinda is going for his 25th win from 40 attempts in Race 9 at 7:13pm.
