Small print indicates Glazers’ thinking
If you can cast your mind back to the original statement from the Glazers, way back on November 22, then you might remember this line.
“There can be no assurance that the review being undertaken will result in any transaction involving the Company.”
That didn’t seem that important or interesting at the time – with fans understandably giddy about the idea of seeing the back of the Glazers – but it could be key now. It means that, after undertaking this lengthy process, the Glazers could simply decide to stick rather than twist and hold onto the club.

Ten Hag doesn’t have patience on transfers
Erik ten Hag has admitted he is growing impatient with the uncertainty surrounding Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.
Ten Hag has previously admitted he is in the dig as regards United’s budget because he doesn’t know whether the Glazers will still be in charge at the start of next season. And now he has revealed there is some underlying frustration around the situation.
“It’s difficult to say in this moment, you have to see now how you come out of the transfer window but if I see now we need more,” Ten Hag said last night. “But I don’t have so much patience, that is one of my mistakes.
“We want to win every game but also, as I just tried to explain, it’s tough here, there are really good teams, especially this season. Manchester City are playing really outstanding football. We have a way to go, we are in the right direction, we have work to do, so a work in progress.”
