Endon seconds held their nerve to clinch the points from their NSSCL Division Seven match at home against Nantwich thirds.
Elliot Simcock’s 56, which contained nine fours and one six, was pivotal to Endon making 138 all out.
Liam Clow (24) and Dako Vujcic (21) lent support, while the bowling plaudits went to Jack Jarvis (3-12) and David Ferris (3-19). There were also a couple of victims for Noah Birchall.
Ferris was then at the centre of the Dabbers’ attempt to chase down that score. He hit 12 boundaries in his 56 to help to put Nantwich in a promising position on 83-4.
Sam Williams added 26, but Endon weren’t to be denied as Vujcic’s 3-40 and double strikes from Chris Reed and Ethan Wood left the visitors all out for 128.
Audlem are setting a hot pace at the summit as they banked a fifth straight win at Onneley seconds’ expense.
Andy Rothwell’s 79, which featured nine fours and four sixes, plus 43 from Kemal Toraman, helped Audlem to 228-5 from their 40 overs. Mohammed Sakandar claimed two wickets.
Onneley tumbled to 20-6 after tea and although Sakandar showed some resistance with an unbeaten 39, Onneley were skittled for 77.
Simon Swift and Abhijith Jayan captured 3-9 and 3-23 respectively.
Wood Lane seconds won by six wickets on their visit to Audley thirds.
The experienced Matthew Hagan pocketed 5-12 to instigate Audley’s downfall to 144 all out. Ashley Guest weighed in with a couple of wickets.
Joseph Smith (41), Amal Davis (37) and Paul Harris (21) were the main men with the bat for Audley.
Richard Beckett helped himself to a couple of victims on the resumption, but Wood Lane managed to cross the line thanks to two key contributions.
Ben Forster made 68 not out, which included nine fours and two sixes, while Ash Porter lent support with 39.
Cheadle thirds overcame a rocky start to their run chase to win by three wickets at home against Woore seconds.
Cheadle were set 83 to win, but found themselves 26-4 in the formative stages of their innings.
However, a fifth-wicket partnership of 46 between Owen Turner (32) and Archie Pyatt (11) ensured that the Moorlanders eventually managed to knock off the runs.
Andy Kenvyn took 4-19 and there were two wickets for Lauren Kenvyn. Earlier in the day, Johnathan Clowes took 3-1 off eight overs – and David Wilson and Pyatt shared four wickets – as Woore were bowled out for 82.
Lauren Kenvyn top-scored with 21, closely followed by Navid Munir (12) and Matilda Atherton-Gater (11).
Newcastle & Hartshill thirds were on easy street in sealing the points at Moddershall & Oulton sixths.
Ben Ford’s 54 was backed up by 22 from Zak Twist and Richard Parkes and Carlyle Collins’ 21 as Castle piled up 200 all out. Shahzada Hussain and Mohammed Younis both claimed 3-26.
Younis contributed 21 to the Modd men’s reply, aided by Shahid Mahmood’s 17 and 13 from Omar Arbab.
But Moddershall & Oulton were dismissed for 90 as Twist helped himself to 3-18 to sit alongside doubles from Parkes and Todd Talbot.
Rode Park & Lawton seconds had a comfortable afternoon as they beat Sandbach seconds.
David Blatherwick (49), Callum Landon (46no), Andrew Marshall (41) and Gary Jennison (38) led Rode Park & Lawton to 255-9 from their 40 overs.
Cam Donald and Oliver Barlow took four of the wickets to fall.
Barlow (48), Rhys Chambers (30) and 20 apiece from Paul Lloyd and James Johnson were the impressive efforts from a Sandbach perspective after tea.
But Joel Gallimore’s 4-19 and two wickets each from Landon and Sam Marshall left the visitors all out for 156.
