Specialist national brokerage firm HTL Property has been exclusively appointed to sell McNevins Tamworth Motel via an Expression of Interest campaign.
HTL Property Directors Nic Simarro and James Carrick have been appointed to handle the sale in conjunction with HTL’s Queensland Accommodation Director, Paul Nyholt.
McNevins Tamworth Motel is positioned upon an expansive 10,935sqm* of land on the New England Highway, the main thoroughfare between Tamworth, Armidale and Brisbane.
The well-presented motel is set amongst beautiful gardens and comprises 24 spacious rooms, modern restaurant and cocktail bar; a pool, and conference facilities, a large area of undeveloped land including a horse paddock, Manager’s residence and on-site parking.
Operated entirely under management, vacant possession is available; accordingly, there exists an opportunity to substantially reposition the asset to appeal to a broader guest audience.
“McNevins Tamworth Motel is an established operation and will suit owner operators and investors into the regional accommodation sector” commented HTL Property Director, Nic Simarro.
“Tamworth is a strong and competitive market; and therefore there exists limited opportunity to acquire accommodation in and around the leading regional city” added Simarro.
“Due to the significant land holding, the opportunity presents alternative development opportunities; whether in the form of townhouses, villa’s or a larger accommodation offering” advised HTL Property Director, James Carrick.
“Additionally, there exists immediate revenue enhancement potential by reinstituting the food and beverage operation; as well as driving the conferencing business” concluded Carrick.
McNevins Tamworth Motel is for sale by Expression of Interest closing Thursday, 22nd June, 2023
