One officer, a 54-year-old man, was airlifted to hospital with serious leg and internal injuries.
Another officer, a 56-year-old man, was seriously injured and driven to St Vincent’s Hospital.
Another two officers suffered minor injuries when the truck hit two more police cars in nearby Kleinton.
Multiple emergency services crews have been responding to the incident.
A man, who is alleged to be the only person in the truck, has been arrested.
Superintendent Douglas McDonald said the alleged offender is known to police.
“It shows how dangerous police work is … trying to stop stolen vehicles in the area,” he said.
“It really troubles me … the level of violence and complete disregard for community safety and the safety of our officers.”
McDonald said the vehicle had only just been reported stolen on Wednesday morning from an address in Oakey.
“Subsequent inquiries led us to this location this afternoon,” he said.
Charges are expected to be laid soon, McDonald added.
“Police are still reviewing that CCTV footage,” he said.
