The Gold Coast SUNS are just about to take to the skies ahead of a jam-packed 11-day trip to the Northern Territory
Alongside two AFL matches and a VFL game as well, there’s plenty of opportunities across the week for Territorians to share special moments with the GC SUNS players and coaches.
Game Days
We’re looking forward to seeing all our Territory SUNS members and fans in the stands.
Our Round 11 AFL fixture against the Western Bulldogs gets underway at 6.55pm on Saturday, May 27, with a VFL curtain raiser against Footscray at 3pm.
In Round 12, your SUNS take on the Crows at 7pm with a NTFL premiers Waratah taking on a CAFL representative team as the curtain raiser on Saturday, June 3.
Bonson and Ahmat Gates open at 2.30pm and the Scoreboard Gate will open at 5pm for both weekends.

Training sessions
The SUNS will be using TIO Stadium as its training base throughout the stay in Darwin.
Spectators are welcome to attend the two Captain’s Runs ahead of both games, on Friday, May 26 at 4.30pm & Friday, June 2 at 3pm.
There’ll also be a meet and greet opportunity at Wednesday’s main training session at 5.45pm approx.
SUNS in the community
Our players and staff will be immersing themselves in the Territory communities throughout the week with plenty of opportunities to meet the players as well.
Get down to Smith St Mall from 12pm this Friday for ticket giveaways & your chance to get up close and personal with a number of our SUNS squad.
The boys will be taking their Sunday morning recovery to the Darwin Waterfront from 9am while the entire squad will be journeying around Darwin with school, community group and library visits across the afternoon on Tuesday, May 30.
