The teaser trailer for Killers of the Flower Moon has been released, and it is undoubtedly terrifying.
The film is based on David Grann’s best-selling book of the same name, and it is about serial killings committed by members of Oklahoma’s oil-rich Osage Nation. Aside from Leonardo, the film will feature performances by Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, Brendan Fraser, and John Lithgow. Killers of the Flower Moon, a crime drama starring Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio, will be released in theatres on October 20.
The plot chronicles a sequence of brutal killings among a Midwestern Native American tribe in Oklahoma when oil was discovered on their territory in the 1920s, as the title suggests.

Scorsese’s next film, written by Forrest Gump screenwriter Eric Roth, is based on author David Grann’s 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.
