The Princess of Wales has stunned in emerald green while carrying out royal duties for Mental Health Awareness Week.
Royal biographer Tom Bower has claimed the Princess of Wales was “angry” with Queen Camilla over the guest list at the coronation and refused to curtsy for her during the event.
The Anna Freud centre is a major British children’s charity dedicated to providing training and support for child mental health services.
Middleton’s visit to the centre is likely in conjunction with her flagship Shaping Us initiative that she launched back in January.
The program is designed to be a long-term campaign to promote early childhood development and her first major initiative since becoming Princess of Wales in September.
The 41-year-old wore a Suzannah London emerald “Flippy Wiggle” dress and her favourite pair of Alessandra Rich pumps for the casual daytime engagement.
“The original inspiration derives from a late 1940s Wiggle Dress, which we have re-cut to have it skim over the bodice with a fluid gentle soft movement throughout the skirt, from the hips to the hemline,” a description on the brand’s website read.
“The silhouette is contoured around the waist and front yoke with delicate pin-tucks.
“The dress is designed to be an elegant tea-length featuring beautiful half-length sleeves with a buttoned cuff.
According to the British Express newspaper, Kate likely chose the emerald dress to match the green ribbon which serves as the international symbol of mental health awareness.
The striking emerald dress retails for about £2,790 (AUD $5,300), while her pumps cost about £540 (AUD $1,010).
However, the Princess of Wales chose to accessorise her designer look with a pair of “textured drop earrings with a stone accent” by high street brand Accessorize.
The funky earrings cost a budget-friendly £11 (AUD $20).

Her latest public appearance follows a bizarre revelation by an American film critic that Disney’s new live-action Little Mermaid film takes a subtle jab at Middleton.
The critic revealed the new film seems to poke fun at the Princess of Wales’ name.
“Ariel has sacrificed her voice in order to get to the surface and (meet) Prince Eric. She can’t speak so he tries to guess her name,” the reviewer explained.
“His first guess is Diana.
“His second guess is Catherine, but after Ariel gives a disgusted reaction, he concludes ‘OK, definitely not Catherine,’” he said.
The latest adaption of the classic Hans Christian Anderson tale portrays a black mermaid (played by American actress Halle Bailey) and a white Prince (played by British actor Jonah Hauer-King), which has drawn comparisons to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
