Now that Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 is coming to an end, which of our fave couples are still together?
Despite the secret meet-ups, police investigations and mass walkouts, this season of FWAW was promised to be the most romantic one yet. We’ve seen some couples roll around in the hay this season but have they managed to go the distance?
Moving to the farm is a challenging experience, and whilst the promise of love sounds so very sweet, which ladies continued to make it work once reality settled in?
Keep scrolling to find out which Farmer Wants a Wife 2023 couples are still together!
Farmer Andrew and Claire Saunders
Farmer Andrew famously quit FWAW after falling in love with mine truck driver Claire Saunders.
And we’re happy to reveal that the pair are still together. Phew!
The loved-up duo are now living together on Andrew’s farm in Narromine, NSW and it seems like their relationship is moving at lightning speed.
During an interview with Now to Love on May 1, the couple confessed that they’ve already spoken about having babies.
The 37-year-old admitted that even though things were still fresh between them, the topic of “twins” had come up a few times.
“It would be nice to have twins first up and then see what would happen after that,” the mine truck driver laughed.
However, the crop and sheep farmer chimed in, saying that he still wanted to enjoy his time with Claire before throwing kids into the mix.
“We’re approaching it with the mindset of, let’s enjoy one another first for a period of time and make memories of our own, and if things keep evolving in a positive manner, then that’ll come,” he said.
The couple have also been posting a series of romantic snaps to the gram, and it seems like they’re happily in love!
“Hey ya’ll, we’re really happy,” Claire captioned an adorable selfie of the pair on May 6.
“We had our picture taken today in Dubbo and we were in the middle of a conversation, so it might have looked like we were having a heated discussion but we honestly weren’t. We were just deciding where to go for a beer,” she wrote with a laughing emoji.
Aww, we just love these two!
Farmer David and Emily
For Farmer David and Emily, the chemistry was undeniable from the start.
During the Finale on May 14, the couple confessed their love for each other, but they’ve been super quiet on social media since, causing speculation they may have split to arise.
However, the pair told 7Entertainment that they’re still together and that the 26-year-old has already moved to the farm!
“We’re really happy and we really found our groove here on the farm,” the apple farmer dished.
“We’re just really enjoying what’s been the start of something really special.
“I don’t think we ever could have expected to start something this amazing from a show which seems so distant at the very beginning,” he added. Aww!
Now we confirmed this tea quite some time ago, as Emily was spotted working at the Wallangarra State School near the 29-year-old’s farm back in February.
“Farmer David must choose Emily because she’s now working at Wallangarra State School. Near the border of NSW and QLD,” one insider told So Dramatic!.
“Emily is a teacher’s aide there now.
“She’s not a local, she only started there this year after moving to the area after the show ended, so looks like she definitely won and has relocated there to be with David,” they added.
We’re so happy for these two!
Farmer Matt and Olivia
For us viewers, it was blatantly obvious that Farmer Matt and Olivia would end up together from the moment they met on their speed date.
And the 23-year-old told Woman’s Day that he felt the same way, as he knew he’d choose the admin officer from the very start. Aww.
“It was hard because we both wanted to respect the other ladies and the process, but it didn’t really coincide with how we would’ve lived our lives,” Olivia, 24, explained.
“I think that made us really strong, very early on, that’s what helped us with these new life challenges, such as moving and having new careers.”
To our relief, the pair are still very much together, however, unlike their other co-stars, they have found love off the farm.
The couple moved to Canberra once filming wrapped after Matt decided to take a job with the Department of Agriculture, so the pair will be living there until it’s time to return to the farm.
Olivia has also revealed that they’ve already spoken about baby names, and our hearts are melting!
“We both want kids,” she said.
“We haven’t argued over baby names. There’s a little list happening.”
Well, we guess it’s true. Farmer Wants a Wife really does work!
