Influencer Deni Todorovic had a heated hour-long run-in with airport staff and police on Monday before flying from Melbourne to Sydney for Australian Fashion Week.
And on Wednesday, the 35-year-old non-binary star was seen holding up traffic as they stepped out of a car in the middle of Oxford Street.
Unapologetically flaunting his distinctive fashion sense, Deni, who uses all pronouns, confidently rocked an open black wireframe skirt and matching high heels.
Meanwhile, his white underpants subtly peeked through as a deliberate style statement.
A touch of urban flair was added with a grey Coca-Cola jumper, all the while exuding a sense of dishevelled charm while navigating the lively intersection.
Deni’s attention-grabbing getup and confident presence certainly turned the heads of pedestrians.
The star was recently refused entry into Nadia Bartel’s Henne fashion show after rocking up in white underpants.
Deni later alluded to the incident on social media but didn’t mention Nadia’s name, instead saying that he was denied entry by ‘someone I thought was a friend’.
On Monday, Deni was seen having an animated conversation outside Melbourne’s domestic departure terminal with two Australian Federal Police officers.
Todorovic claimed to have been subjected to ‘homophobic and racist’ behaviour after getting into a dispute with Jetstar staff over an additional charge for an overweight second piece of luggage at check in.
The fashionista, who was wearing a ballgown, admits to ‘yelling’ after being told there would be a $100 fee for the bag being 10.5kg over the limit.
Shortly afterwards, two airport policemen approached and the argument continued – with the model eventually missing the flight.
‘I almost got arrested over $100 f***ing dollars,’ Todorovic explained to the Daily Telegraph after finally touching down in Sydney on Tuesday to attend an Erik Yvon show for Fashion Week.
‘I was sitting on a suitcase and then I said to mum, “I should probably put some pants on because I will get more respect”.
The controversial model’s involvement with swimwear brand Seafolly campaign led to a customer boycott in March.
His subsequent erratic behaviour and tirades have seen the influencer ditched from various public roles by underwear label Bonds, youth charity Minus 18, and gin brand Tanqueray.
