Methylamphetamine, drug utensils and weapons have been seized by police in multiple drug raids across the Gladstone region. FULL DETAILS.
Gladstone Detectives executed five search warrants on May 24 in Gladstone, Mount Larcom and Boyne Island as part of Operation Nostrums, a drug operation addressing intelligence received through Crime Stoppers.
The first raid was at an address at Off Lane, South Gladstone, about 6.50am where police allegedly found an amount of marijuana, drug utensils, a taser and four flick knives.
A 41-year-old South Gladstone man was charged with one count of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts each of possessing utensils and unlawful possession of a category R weapon, and one count each of property suspected, possessing things used and storage measures and precautions about access to restricted items.
He will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on June 19.
Police then searched an address on Oaka Street, South Gladstone, about 7am and allegedly found an amount of marijuana.
A 44-year-old South Gladstone woman was given a drug diversion for one count of possessing dangerous drugs.
Police searched an address on Pike Cres, Toolooa, about 9.35am and allegedly found an amount of methylamphetamine, marijuana, other restricted medicines, ammunition and utensils.
A 35-year-old Toolooa man was charged with two counts each of buying or possessing S4 or S8 medicines or hazardous poisons, possessing dangerous drugs and one count of authority required to possess explosives.
A 36-year-old Toolooa woman was also charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils and possessing property suspected.
They will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on June 19.
A 16-year-old Toolooa boy and 17-year-old Toolooa boy were both dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
Police searched an address on Orana Ave, Boyne Island, also about 9.35am and allegedly found an amount of marijuana and utensils.
A 46-year-old Boyne Island man was charged with one count each of authority required to possess explosives, permitting use of place and possessing utensils.
A 40-year-old Boyne Island woman was also charged with one count each of possessing dangerous drugs, permitting use of place and possessing utensils.
They will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on June 19.
The last raid was at an address on The Narrows Rd, Mount Larcom, about 1pm where police allegedly found utensils, firearms, ammunition and more than 3.5kg of marijuana.
A 56-year-old Mount Larcom man was charged with one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing property suspected, unlawful possession category A weapon and authority required to possess explosives.
He will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on July 3.
