Dreamworld in late 2022 announced that the investment and planning are well underway for a new range of attractions to be constructed at the theme park in 2023 and 2024. This doesn’t include a new $75 Million Dream World Resort.

Already open in 2023 was the Dreamland Parents Centre an air-conditioned private space that includes feeding spaces, kid’s play areas, reading nooks, microwaves and bottle sanitisers, and changing spaces.
Attractions Opening 2023
The new Wave Swinger attraction will be situated alongside the Dreamworld Globe at the entrance and be family-friendly, and suitable for children and adults. offering a delightful experience soaring over the famous globe.
The existing Ocean Parade precinct will be refurbished and extended to include a bumper cars attraction and Pandamonium thrill ride, with the addition of a themed splash zone for summer.
Attractions Opening 2024
ABC KIDS and The Wiggles World will be re-developed to provide a brand new themed land ‘Rivertown’ and be associated with Kenny and Belinda’s Dreamland and named after its location on the banks of the Murrissippi River.
Vintage Cars Adventure will be relocated into Rivertown and redesigned suiting the jungle theming as ‘Murrissippi Motors’. With brand new vehicles included in the theming, kids will be able to climb and explore the new area.
Jungle Rush is the largest investment, providing a new fast world-class family rollercoaster to the theme park. Costing $35 Million, the new ride will be built by the world-renowned manufacturer, Vekoma. Suitable for both kids and adults, the rollercoaster will offer a world-first providing an inclined turntable, 12 airtime elements, show moments and the ability to run both backwards and forwards.
