Safe to say, most any American would love to have 4-star receiver Jason Robinson’s air miles. The well-traveled Long Beach Poly is in Seattle this weekend after a visit to Syracuse University last weekend. He’s also visited Penn State, Pittsburg, Notre Dame and Colorado.
Because he was committed to USC since September 25th of 2021 he didn’t learn what the Pacific Northwest has to offer, so he will arrive in the Emerald City with his eyes wide open.
“I don’t really know much about Seattle,” he said. “I’m planning on getting to learn more while I’m out there”
He’ll have the opportunity to get to know the Huskies in their natural habitat.
”I’m looking forward to meeting the coaches they can supply me with an endless amount of opportunities,” the former USC commit said.
He’ll hoping to get to spend time with many coaches and players.
“I’m also looking forward to getting to really know the great receiver culture that they have going on over there,” he said.
A shade under 6-0, and 160 pounds, Robinson will get the full culture immersion experience that doesn’t include the high-pressure tactics. Coach DeBoer has stated that he prefers that prospects experience Washington’s vibe first hand to make an informed decision.
Which is precisely what Robison is looking for.
“I’m looking forward to hopefully meeting some genuine people and seeing an atmosphere that want me to play there,” he said.
At this point, Robinson doesn’t appear to be in a rush to make a new commitment. After Washington he will visit Cal on the 23rd of June followed by a Utah visit at the end of August.
