- May 22: New South Wales and Queensland name their game 1 teams. New South Wales 18th man Campbell Graham released due to injury (sternum) and replaced by Penrith Panthers centre Stephen Crichton. New South Wales induct Danny Buderus, Mick Cronin, Dally Messenger, Frank Burge and Dave Brown into the NSWRL Hall of Fame.
