A 12-year-old girl was the victim of an alleged assault and attempted aggravated robbery at the Corinna Street entrance to Westfield Woden on Friday.
Police say that at about 6pm, the girl parked an electric scooter inside the entry doors.
The teenage boy allegedly approached and walked away with the scooter before a woman, known to the 12-year-old, subsequently took the scooter back.
Shortly afterwards, one of teenage two girls allegedly assaulted the 12-year-old and threatened to assault the woman before the trio ran off.
Police are looking to identify the three teenagers over their alleged involvement.
The boy is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a thin build and short, light brown hair, wearing a light grey hooded jumper, black jacket, black pants, and tan work boots.
The girl who committed the alleged assault is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a solid build and dark red hair, wearing a black hoodie, black leggings and pink runners.
The other girl is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a solid build and dark hair, wearing a black jumper, black pants, and white runners.
